Latest News : AIPMT/ 2016 Become NEET As Per Supreme Court Orders , No AIPMT this year : NEET to be conducted in two phases NEET exam on May 1^st 2016 and July 24 , 2016; Joint result of NEET 2016 will be Announced on Aug 17, 2016

AIMT become NEET as per Supreme Court orders.

On this Thursday 28^th April, Supreme Court changed the name o AIPMT to National eligibility entrance test (NEET) 2016. This step has paved the way of National eligibility entrance test (NEET) this year 201 for getting admissions into medical colleges. The SC also directed the CBSE to move ahead and conduct a dual phase single common entrance test for the various medical courses like MBBS, BDS and PG courses through National eligibility entrance test (NEET) instead of AIPMT.

News on 1st May 2016 – NEET 2016: Second phase test only for new candidates :- The second phase is only for students who did not register for AIPMT (NEET phase 1) exam .

Headline 1 :- The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is conducting the NEET 2016 in the current year only in English and Hindi.

AIPMT 2016 Name Changed to NEET 2016

There will now be a single India wide entrance exam for all medical courses. It will be made done in two phases unlike the AIPMT exam which is single phase exam. National eligibility entrance test (NEET) replaces the AIPMT from this year only. All India PMT i.e. AIPMT would renamed as NEET-I and exam would be conducted on 1^st May 2016, the first phase of NEET. While a second phase of exam would be conducted on July 24. There will be a combined result shall be declared on 17 Aug. Round of counseling would held within period of 45 days for NEET. Entire process is expected to get completed by 30^th Sep 2016.

Approximately 5 lakh students are expected to take this exam of NEET 2016.

Change in dates of exams For CPMT, AIPMT and other

As per the orders of apex court the AIPMT, which had to take place on this Sunday 1^st may, would be considered as first phase of National eligibility entrance test (NEET).

While the second phase of National eligibility entrance test (NEET) would be conducted on 24 july 2016.

AIPMT Cancelled and to be Treated as NEET Phase 1 – Phase 2

How Students Can Apply for National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2016

Those have applied for AIPMT this year will sit in first phase of National eligibility entrance test (NEET) 2016 on 1^st may.

While who did not applied for AIPMT/UP CPMT this year get a second chance to apply in National eligibility entrance test (NEET) 2016, and become eligible to appear in the second round of National eligibility entrance test (NEET) 2016 which is supposed to be conducted on 24^th July 2016.

A combined result for both the phases of National eligibility entrance test (NEET) 2016 will be declared on Aug 17 2016, so that admission process could have completed by 30^th Sep 2016.

After the direction of apex court on National eligibility entrance test (NEET) 2016, other various medical entrance tests which were about to happen next couple of months may get cancelled.
