The Prime Minister of our country, Shri Narendra Modi, has today announced to distribute property cards to the landowners under the Svamitva scheme through video conference.

The Prime Minister has said that under this scheme, a link is going to be sent to the mobile phones of about one lakh property holders of the country through SMS. Through which the property holders of the country can download their property cards.

Svamitva Yojana 2021–22 Budget

A budget of Rs 913.43 crore has been set for the Ministry of Panchayati Raj for 2021-22. This budget is 32% quite the previous year. Out of this budget Rs 593 crore has been allocated for Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan and Rs 200 crore has been allocated for the scheme. The budget of this scheme was Rs 79.65 crore last year. Which has now increased to 200 crores. Last year 9 states were covered under this scheme and this year 16 states are included under this scheme.

Under Svamitva Yojana, about 130 drone teams are deployed in various states. This drone team has been deployed by the Survey of India. 500 drones are going to be deployed under this scheme by March 2021. Through which Indian drone manufacturing has also got a lift.
