(PM Kisan) Samman Nidhi Yojana: This scheme is running by the gov of India where all Kisan will be given 6 thousand rupees in their account in three installed of 2 thousand rupees. The Scheme is running effectively from 1.12.2018. The lock-down has been the most affected farmer segment. Various schemes are being run by the Central Government for the upliftment of farmers. PM Kisan Nidhi Yojana have been paid a total of Rs 16,394 crore as the first instalment by May 5, 2021.

How To Register or Enroll in PM Kisan ?

For enrollment, the farmer is required to approach the local patwari / revenue officer / Nodal Officer (PM Kisan) nominated by the State Government.

Farmers can also do their own-registration through official site https://pmkisan.gov.in/ in the Farmers Corner in the portal. They can also change their name as per the Adhar card and check the status of the payment.

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Beneficiary List

Beneficiary i.e. farmer first go to the official website Here of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi www.pmkisan.gov.in. There is a lot of information about this scheme on the website. There is a tab on the website called Farmers Corner, where every important information related to farmers is there. Farmers Corner has six dropdowns. 

The first one is the New Farmer Registration. The second Edit Adhar Failure Record. The third Beneficiary Status is the fourth Beneficiary List, the fifth Status of Self Registered / CSC Farmers and the sixth download PMKISAN Mobile App. You have to click on the Beneficiary List from it.

Provided financial assistance of Rs. 34,800 crore

Two days ago, the central government had said that under the Prime Minister’s Poor Welfare Package, about 39 crore beneficiaries under various schemes have been provided financial assistance of Rs 34,800 crore so far with the help of digital payment system. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced this package of Rs 1.70 lakh crore on 26 March. Under this, the government had announced to give free food grains to the poor along with cash payments to women, elderly and farmers.

The Finance Ministry said in a statement that the central and state governments are regularly monitoring the package distribution. Like the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi, 20.05 crore women Jan Dhan account holders have been sent 10,025 crore rupees as the first installment of 500 rupees. Out of this, about 8.72 crore women Jan Dhan account holders also withdraw from the accounts. At the same time, a total of Rs 2,785 crore was sent to the account of 5.57 crore women Jan Dhan account holders

First instalment of Rs 2,000 released to farmers: PM Kisan

During the package of the 20 Lack Crore rupees, FM Nirmala Sitharaman  informed that till May 6, the beneficiaries of 8.19 crore PM Kisan Samman Nidhi have got an installment of Rs 2,000 under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana.

Under this scheme, farmers are given an installment of 2000 rupees every 4 months. 6,000 rupees are paid annually in equal installments. After the launch of the scheme, 5 installments of Rs 2,000 have been sent to the farmers so far. Its sixth installment is also coming soon.

How to Check the Status of Payment

If you have registered already then you can see your payment status by following below steps-

  • First, visit to the official website pmkisan.gov.in. 
  • After this, click on the Farmer Corner athen menu will open now click on the beneficiary list. https://pmkisan.gov.in/Rpt_BeneficiaryStatus_pub.aspx

  • Here you have to enter the name of your state, district, tehsil and bulk. 
  • Then after this, you have to click on the Get Report. From where you will get the complete list. and check your payment.

Frequently Asked Question

How many times the benefit will be given in a year?

The benefit will be provided in three equal instalments of Rs. 2000/- each for every 4 months period into the bank account of all eligible beneficiaries. For 2018-19, the beneficiary shall be provided one instalment.

Whether an employee of the Central/State Government / PSU / Autonomous Organization, etc. is eligible to get the benefit under the scheme?

No. Serving or retired officer and employee of Central/ State Government Ministries /Offices/Departments and its field units Central or State PSEs and Attached offices /Autonomous Institutions under Government as well as regular employees of the Local Bodies are not eligible to get benefit under the scheme. However, serving or retired Multi Tasking Staff / Class IV/Group D employee is eligible to get benefit under the Scheme provided their families are otherwise eligible and not covered under other exclusion criteria.

In the above, through the helpline number and email, farmers can give information about the fraud committed by the middleman, so that if this fraud is true, then further police action can be taken. Apart from this, a toll free number has also been issued for the scheme. Farmers can call 15526 or 1800115526 to get other information related to the scheme. 

Will any individual or farmer family owning more than 2 hectare of cultivable land get any benefit under the scheme?
No. Any individual or farmer family owning more than 2 hectare of cultivable land will not get any benefit under the scheme.

What will happen if the beneficiary gives incorrect declaration for the implementation of the Scheme?
In case of incorrect declaration, the beneficiary shall be liable for recovery of transferred financial benefit and other penal actions as per law.

What is the cutoff date for determination of eligibility of beneficiaries under the scheme?

The cut-off date for determination of eligibility of beneficiaries under the scheme shall be 01.02.2019 and no changes thereafter shall be considered for eligibility of benefit under the scheme for next 5 years except transfer of land on succession in case of death of landholder
