How To Get New Ration Card/ Renewal of the Ration Card

Go to the Link of the PDS portal i.e. www.lakpds.gov.in
Click on the “Download” and go to the “Form” Section and download the application form.
Fill in the necessary details in the application form and attach the photo of the head of the family.
Attach the Identity and Residential Proof with the Form (List of the Documents for Identity & Residential is given in form)
For the renewal, the old Ration Card is also to be submitted along with the form.
After that form should be submitted to SDO.

The Application Form for New Ration Card or Renew/ Correction/ Update/ Duplicate Ration Card, The Application Form can be downloaded from the department’s website.

Ration Card Application Fee in Lakshadweep

Rs. 3 (three) will be charged as Application Fee for New Ration Card.

Temporary Ration Card in Lakshadweep

For New Inclusion on Transfer

For New Inclusion on Transfer from another place in Card, Surrender certificate has to be produced with application and for inclusion of the newly born child in ration card after attaining 1 year, Birth Certificate to be produced along with the application in plain paper.
